A common question I receive about Microsoft Excel is “How do I know when I am near the bottom of the spreadsheet, and where is the right margin of the spreadsheet? I know that I can use the Print Preview command to ‘sneak a peek’ every now and then, but I should be able to see the page margins without flipping back and forth, right?
The answer is using the Page Break Preview command. In Microsoft Office Excel, click View, Page Break View, then click back to the Normal view. From this point forward, you will see the top and bottom margins, as well as the margin on the right-side of the spreadsheet.
In Excel 2003 click the following:
- View
- Page Break Preview
To return back to the default appearance
- Normal
- View
In Excel 2007, click the following:
- View tab
- Worksheet Views group
- Page Break View
To return back to the default appearance
- Normal
Hope this helps. See you in the next lesson
